Statement: Jason uses ideas ranging from the De Stijl and Neo-Classical movements mixed with American Identity. The Demolition Derby car and his time spent in the Army helps deliver the story being told on a mixed media canvas. Jason uses oil pastels, silkscreen, and Nasdar ink to start the painting and then attaches a sculpted door to finish the assemblage.
